Hello,
Last night I got to upload the pictures from my fall leaf project. My professor assigned us to something with the fall leaves, anything he said. After hearing other people's ideas, I thought I would do something a little more crafty, so I decided to make a lampshade. First I tried extracting the leaves color pigments with alcohol and a printing press, but that didn't work. Instead I suspended the leaves between layers of handmade paper, and wrapped that around the wire-frame of the lamp shade. This actually worked out nicer, because it kept the true fall colors. Also, the light passing through the leaves has a very interesting look
